Rough Itinerary
- 7:00am: Pickup from Launceston or Devonport accommodation.
- 9:30am: Arrive Cradle Mountain, begin Dove Lake circuit walk.
- 11:30am: Climb to Marion's Lookout if conditions allow (steep, weather-dependent).
- 1:00pm: Packed lunch at a scenic rest point.
- 3:00pm: Return walk to visitor centre, wildlife spotting along the way.
- 6:30pm: Drop-off back in Launceston or Devonport.

Cradle Mountain's weather changes fast regardless of season — pack for cold, wind and rain even on a forecasted sunny day. The Marion's Lookout climb is genuinely steep and gets cancelled by the guide in poor conditions for safety, so don't count on it as guaranteed even if you've paid for the full-day option.
